Beauty and the Beach

A fabulous day was had by all on this lovely beach day. After driving 2 hours to the coast we found it to be very overcast and windy. We saw a little split of blue sky in the distance and decided to pursue it rather than stay at our original, planned location and shoot in the fog. We were rewarded with a beautiful clearing that was sunny and warm(er). We had no plan of shooting with dunes and beach grass but the images are stunning. Sometimes you just have to forsake the plan for the day and chase the blue sky. Happy accidents happen.
